I was looking at possibly either the Reaper, or the ET65, but would be open to other suggestions.

 

I typically like my clean's snappy and responive.

But, prefer smother overdriven sounds.  I also frequently use a big muff.

 

Tones I consider good are pretty wide ranged:

Nile Rodgers, The Edge, Johnny Marr, David Gilmore, Keith Richards, John Frusciante, Brian May, Dan Auerbach, Jimmy Page, Neil Young, Pete Townshend.

 

Any advice would be welcomed,

Probably leaning toward the ET65 ... but the Reaper would be in the same camp ...
