Hi! I want to improve my Valvestate 8040 1x12 combo amp (open back). Which speakers you'd suggest to give more clean headroom? I was thinking in the Reaper HP. Thanks!
Sure, the Reaper HP is always a good safe choice for any music style! Now, if you want to take it a little more in the vintage Marshall tone direction ... then I'd go for a Retro 30 ... I'm REALLY digging those these days.
