i recently purchased a vet 30 which i am loving but...at higher volume when i palm mute and chug low E I get this strange fizzy sound, just as you would here when you pour a coke in a cup, very odd. Is this normal...will it go away after a good break in? ive got about 20 hours on the speaker now. Its def the speaker ive tried others in the same cab and this one in a diff cab. same result.
ok...i wanted to ask around first because the first speaker i got was HORRIBLE, was a defect and they sent me a new one which sounds awesome minus the soda fizz lol...i dont want to seem like a pain in their A** u no. thanks for the reply.
i actually just got the et 65 today and paired with the vet 30...wow is all i can say!! specially when they were replacing 2 celestion 70/80's.
Your nowhere near being a pain in the rear yet! Actually it is all of us affiliated with WGS that should be asking your forgiveness. I've personally watched Dean sweep-check every speaker before they are considered "done" ... he's really good, and it's VERY rare that a bad speaker leaves the factory!!
