I have Jensen C10Q's in now which sound great overdriven but a little harsh on the cleans.
I'd also like to increase headroom and clarity, would the G10C's be the ones to go for?

Yes! The G10s will provide everything you say you are looking for ... the trade-off will be an amp that's about 7-lbs heavier!
What's the difference in sound between the G10 c and Veteran 10? I'm thinking of mixing the two.

The G10 is a huge stout 75-watt speaker ... the Vet 10 is a lightweight 20-watt.
