RE: Speaker to pair with a Blackhawk HP for D-Style amp

Hey there,

I've a Blackhawk HP for my #102 D-Style amp and I just love the tone.

Now, I'd like to put it in my 2x12 but have not enough money atm for another Blackhawk HP so can yo recommend me a ceramic speaker which compliments it?

Whatcha going for?  More of what the BH has to offer ... or something different?

I'd like to keep the general timbre of the BH, just maybe a bit added lo mid richness..?

Yep, more of that! Maybe a little fattening in the low mid register...

Yea, the choices would be:

Reaper 55 - most "fattening"

Reaper or Reaper HP (not quite as much)

ET-65 - adds some warm, woody, organic lower midrange

ET-90 ... about the same ... but not as "organig" or "woody" sounding.
