RE: Pickups [rewind... Strat bridge pickup]

Hey Vaughn,

I am restoring a '72 Strat (acquired originally in fall of 1971) back to original stock configuration and over the years kept all the original pickups and pots, even the 3 position switch. Unfortunately, the original bridge pickup malfunctioned almost 30 years ago and the entire set replaced at that time with a set of Texas Specials. You’re now selling your branded pickups - can you do a rewind on the bridge back to stock specs?

Sure, just email me directly (vaughn@wgs4.com). The price is about the same as a “new” VS single pickup (it’s pretty labor-intensive) … and you’ll probably want to send all three to me so I can properly calibrate the bridge to the set. I’ll also check to make sure none of them have began to de-gauss over the 44 years (it happens) … and if so, I’ll properly charge them at no extra cost.
