Based on the samples I heard, would a Liberator 80 and a G12C be a good match for a 2x12 ?
I want to put them in an Orange 2x12, still haven't made my choice beetween CB or OB.
I'd use this cab with some Fenderish and Marshallian heads as well. I use a lot of fuzz pedals, melow high gain sounds, and want to stay away from the harshness of stock V30's.

We don't hear much about pairing the VERY(!) American voiced G12C with the Britt voiced speakers ... and I've never personally tried the Lib with a G12 ... however, I HAVE put together a cab with a G12C & ET65 for a very respected player, and it was a very nice pairing ... the Lib is similar to the ET-65, so I'd say go for it :-)
If you do, PLEASE come back and report your results here ... I'm very interested in this pairing.
