RE G12Q for Blues Junior

Hi,

what do you think of an g12q in a blues junior? At the Moment i have a celestion seventy 80 in there and it sounds pretty good after i've done most of the BillM mods. Heard the g12q will sound a bit more fenderish and would quiet down the amp a bit with easyer breakup, thats what i'm looking for at home use.

what do you think?

Normally I'd say no way ... but if you want "a bit more fenderish and would quiet down the amp a bit with easyer breakup" ... well then , yes, that's exactly what you will get!  Go for it.
