RE: crate Vintage Club 20

I just picked up this crate Vintage Club 20 with original 12" paper cone Crate EL12 16 ohm speaker.  'sounds OK, but do you have asuggestion for even better?  I play almost exclusively slide in a loud environment (heavy drums and bass).  I am ordering some new tubes, and figured a new speaker might complete the ensanble!

 

(edited my original post, which said it was a 10" speaker)

Oh yea, the G10C (not smooth) is the way to go ... you will notice a huge increase in useable bottom end ... and a good bit more overall bottom.

CORRECTION:  That is a 12" speaker, not a 10".  Same number.
