Builting a 4X10 Cabinet powered by a 65 Black Face Bassman Head my question is what speakers would you recomend and what ohm ratings would be the be the best and how should I confiq 8 or 4 ohm I will be playing guitar on this unit

The Bassman's stock output tranny prefers 4-ohms. So stick with that as your total cabinet load.
If what you like about a 4x10 can be best expresses in the sound of a blackface Super Reverb, then go with four Vet 10s. If you want HUGE volume and classic blackface tone go with 4 G10c ... make two G10C/S if you want to add a little organic lows and lower-midrange.
