RE: 1962 Fender Blonde Twin Speaker Suggestions

Hi, I recently took ownership of a 1962 6G8-A Blonde Fender Twin amp. It came with a pair of later 70's JBL K110 speakers in it. It sounded good, but weight is a serious issue.  I pulled the K110 speakers and put them in my 1973 Fender Twin. Now I am interested in maybe trying some WGS speakers maybe in the 62 Twin. Do you have any suggestions? The amp is rated at about 80W. It is a 2x12. I will not be cranking this amp up for natural tube and speaker break up. I would rather keep the amp cleaner sounding. Also like high end Fender sparkle. 

Any suggestions? Thanks.

What ... that OLD thing?  Why ... I suggest you sell it to me :-)

and so I say ... G12C!  It will save you a few pounds over the JBL's, too...
