I'm looking to swap the speaker out of my AC4TV with something less efficient. My main reason for getting the amp is to have that killer jangle jangle in the middle of the night without waking the house. However, I am finding that even at the 1/4 watt setting, this amp is rather loud.
Would the Veteran 10" be a good choice with its 93 db SPL rating? I am a bit worried about going American with it, I dont want it to loose its jolly Vox charm ;).
