Hello,
I recently bought an Orange TH30 head (30 watts, tubes). I played it through my modified Fender 1x12 cab loaded with a Reaper 30 (30 watts). While it sounds AMAZING, I have been wondering if matching a 30 watt amp head with a 30 watt speaker will have a negative impact on the speaker? I play alternative/hard rock stuff. Should I get a higher wattage speaker?
While we are on the subject, if the Reaper is not the right choice, what speaker would you recommend?
