I have a Mesa Electra Dyne running into two Mesa 1x12 Thiele cabs both loaded with EVM12L speakers.
I'd like something that is a little less bass heavy and a little smoother on top. It's missing that midrange growl.
Which speaker would work best in the Thiele cab and give me more of a vintage sound.
Also, I do play out, so I need something that can handle a bit more volume.

What are the exact dimensions of the cab?
They are built to the EV TL806 specifications.

A possible best choice would be th HM 75 - especially to open up the mids. Also, the Blackhawk HP would give you exactly what you are looking for, but the Alnico models are spendy! Both have a compatible Fs and Vas for that cab. Do you run it ported or sealed? I would recommend sealed for either of these models.
