Marshall Crunch

Hey guys,

 

A few months ago I purchased 2 Invaders and 2 liberators for a 4x12 Marshall 1960 Lead cabinet in a X pattern. I'm thinking it's because of the liberator I am getting too much bottom end, and not enough crunchy top end.

 

So I am curious what our speaker pairing could I go with the 2 Invaders or should I just go with all Invaders in the 4x12?

 

In terms of tones I am looking for are Jimmy Page with Gary Moore if possible.

The amps I use the most are a Marshall superlead clone, and a soldano SLO clone.

Since you state "too much bottom end, and not enough crunchy top end." ... I'm gonna say go with a pair of Green Berets.  If ya don't wanta go that far down the snarley path ... then, yes, another pair of Invaders ...

Thanks for your input, I'll probably go with either another invader or perhaps a reaper as another player as suggested. Btw just wanted to say I love the invader model. : )
