Hello people, first time posting and i really need some help.

I need to know which speaker will sound best for a 15 watts Blackheart Handsome devil Combo

(which is a 16 ohm, 1x12 semi open-back). it has a lot of harshness which kind of hurts the teeth,

and i was wondering which WGS will be the best choice for it? (looking to get rid of the harshness yeah..?)

I play classic rock, blues, The Black Keys or Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same concert sound right

to me.

 

Also, if i added an extra 1x12 cab, which WGS will fit good as an extra for the combo? (and please which ohm

rating as well? i guess i need to get 2 of 8 ohm speaker right?)

If you can afford AlNiCo, go Blackhawk ... if not, Reaper!

I can't afford alnico, and honestly i think (or i'm fooling myself cause it's cheaper) that i prefer non alnico (except on maybe a vox). anyway i was hoping for more advice on Reaper vs green berret vs Veteran 30 Vs Retro 30.

I would like to know if the Blackhawk is still you recommdation for the Blackheart Handsome Devil? I changed the Back of my  Blackheart 1x12 Box. 1/3 of the Back is cut away. The Stock Eminence speakers sounds better now but I am not satisfied with the tone.

 

I use Humbucker Guitars and play AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Guns'n'Roses. Sometimes I still play a little bit funky or just clean.
