ET 10 or Retro 10 for AC10.

Hello,
I’m considering moving the transformer in my AC10 to fit one of these speakers. I am currently leaning to the ET 10. There is one direct comparison on YouTube and I liked the ET better. My question is, I have both an ET65 and a Retro 30. How close are the 10” versions to their big brothers tonally? Is it pretty safe to say that if I prefer either of the 12” versions with this amp that it’s related 10” would be the best choice?

I’d go for the Retro, and use the smoothest sounding tubes you can find, so the upper-mids don’t crunch out. I’d think the ET10 would lack chime.

Narco, thanks, I’m leaning that way myself now after I plugged the AC10 into both my Retro 30 and ET 65. I definitely preferred it with the Retro 30. If the Retro 10 compares closely to the Retro 30, which I think it would, I’ll be happy.
