Hi! Im looking at getting replacement speakers for my 2x12 can for the DR EZG50. What do you recommend for that? I mainly play blues rock and rock.
Do you find it too sharp/piercing or maybe hard/sterile stock?

Okay, that’s generally my feeling with those amps, too … so my for sure tried n true suggestion is a pair of ET65’s!
Over the ET65/Reaper or ET65/Retro??? I use a Duellist OD, germanium fuzz, octafuzz, delay and vibe machine… do you think the ETs would keep clarity and have punch?
Hummm … yes probably so. I’m going to say not the Ret in that amp. However, an ET65 and a Reaper HP WOULD be a very good fit … and the Reaper would bring in a little bit more solid bottom end to the ET65’s warm and organic sweetness … so your call!
