Hey All,
New to the forum… so I got my old 1983 Concert out of storage and I am looking to switch out the stock Eminence speaker. I’m mainly a rhythm guitarist (Beatles, Tom Petty, Byrd’s) and currently play through a Vox AC 30 ( Teles, Ricks, Gretsch, Epiphones). I have been reading about the Warehouse G12C and the G12C S. I’d like maintain the classic Fender tone as I already have a Vox, but i also feel like Fenders can get a little brittle. Any suggestions on what speaker I should get? Much appreciated!
Yeah! The Concert (II) can get brittle … especially in the 1x12 form … so my Rx is this: A G12C/S smooth cone … pure perfection!
