Balancing Single bridge / Humbucker neck on a telecaster

Hi Vaughn,

I have a partcaster that I mounted with Amber pickups, a single blues in the bridge (10,3 kOhm) and a 59 neck humbucker (about 8kOhm). They are great handwound pickups.

I play it through a lab Series L5 with your speakers (amazing sound…). When I follow your recommendation for pickup height individually for humbucker and single tele, I get a glorious sound… But I don’t manage to find a good compromise to balance them volume wise.

How would you go about it?

Yeah, that’s tough! I imagine the neck sounds too dark compared to the bridge?
