I have a new 4x12 Fender cab that currently has Celestion Rocket 50's in it. I hate the Rocket 50's and I like WGS speakers and I'm thinking of replacing the Rocket 50's with 2 Retro 30's (love what I heard on your site!) and 2 ET65's. Do you anticipate any problems with this setup? Can they handle the wattage? Would an X pattern be best or is there a better way? Thanks!
No problems at all. And for the x-pattern ... yea, I personally like it ... as long as you can remember which speaker is where for micing purposes.
BTW: I actually think those little Rocket 50's are better than many of Celestions current offerings ...
