212 cab with Veteran 30 - Reaper 55hz combination

I have a Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 18 watt head and a closed back 212 cab that is currently loaded with Celestion 70/80's. I use the cab in the vertical position. Have ordered a Veteran 30 that I am planning to mount in the top speaker position and am wondering if a Reaper 55hz mounted in the lower speaker position would be a good choice?

Actually … yes, that would be a fantastic choice with the Vet30 … really bring in some thick lower-mids & bottom along wiith a slight softening of the top. Sweeet :slight_smile:
