Single speaker for a Twin Reverb?

Hi all, I use a 1x12 cab miced offstage and recently picked up a Twin Reverb head (85 watts). I have a 75 watt CS12/S speaker in there already. I assume that it’s safe to use since I run the amp about halfway. Or is there a better option? I really don’t need two + speakers for this job.

“CS12/S” … do you mean G12C/S?

My mistake, yes. The G12C/S speaker is what I have, the orange one.

Hi Vaughn, I hope this post works, it wasn’t saving the other day. Yes, I did mean the G12C/s speaker.

Okay … yes, the G12 C/S is good to a true 75-watts RMS … so you souldn’t have anything to worry about.
