Hi. I am in the hunt for a speaker cab and need help on advise. Presently I am eyeing a clone modified Dumble Overdrive type head 20W amp. According to the maker it has a Fenderish clean tone with slight thicker tone. What kind of cab should I pair it with? What can I expect from a 2x12 and 4x10? There's no major music store at my area to compare this.
I like sparkly and nice bottom end tone and want to avoid those warm and overly midrangey pronounced speakers. I like good headroom also since the amp is only 20W and I intend to use it occasionaly in church worship gig. So I was thinking for the 2x12, a ET90 & Retro30 pair while for the 4x10 perhaps 4xG10C.
