RE:peavy classic 30 w/reaper

hi,,

i put a reaper in my classic 30 and am very happy with it.very clear and tight compared to the peavy speaker.

i want to put a wgs speaker in my extension cabinet also and would like some suggestions.i play blues/classic rock

clean or with medium gain settings.i use a strat and a les paul. thanks.....

Cool!

If the ext cab is open back ... go with the new ET90 (or an ET65).

If it's closed, go Ret 30.

yes its a closed back single 12in peavy speaker cab.

i just watched the youtube vid on the retro 30 and it sounds great!!

hi,,

im a bit concerned the retro 30 combined with the reaper might be too bright with the peavy classic 30.as the reaper already is pretty bright by itself in this amp. the extension cab i would be using is a peavy 1 x 12 closed back cab.a panel can be removed to make it partialy open also.is there a wgs speaker that would pair with the reaper and no make the overall sound too bright?

i took a chance and got the retro 30 for my 1 x 12 cab closed back cab,,,,,,wow!!

i thought it wold be too bright but it just made everything better.it pairs perfectly with the reaper!!

thanks wgs,,,i get usa made quality at a better price.cant belieive it!!!!

if you have a classic 30,these wgs modeles are very marshall like and just awesome.
