I wanted to let everyone know that I've had a '72 Kustom Coupe for quite a while and I've never really liked the stock Kustom speakers. I eneded up trying the Reto 30's and I can tell you it makes a huge difference. The amp had been somewhat mute and dull sounding to my ears before. After the swap I find I can dial in a lot more sounds and while these speakers tend to have more high end the V30 types that people typically put in these amps I think it gives you the best of all worlds. Since I'm not playing much out anymore I'll probably sell the big Coupe and pick up a SuperSonic 22. I like theses speakers so much I'll probably try a Retro 30 in that and see how it goes. Just want everyone to know that Kustom Coupes really seem to like the Retro's. I would do that before trying a darker speark. I think the range of the Retro really opens up the capabilities of these amps.
