Hi - I’m looking to build a 12" cabi for a vox ac4th. I dont play anything heavy, but do use OD at equity volumes and delay - basicaly I need something that sounds good clean and reacts well to a smooth gain - more of a playground slide than a flight of stairs if that makes any sense. Green Beret, Invader or Reaper? closed or open cabinet? Thanks for any advice. This is a really good thing you all have here with the q&A forum.
Open or closed is your call based on personal preference.
Green Beret: This is the quintessential Brit voice and will sound very good!
Invader ... only go this rout if you need the extra power-handling for use with a different amp.
Reaper: a good choice if you want a bigger, warmer bottom and a tad more clean headroom.
