Divided by 13 RSA 31 Options

Hi Vaughn,

 

Well, you got my Jackson El Guapo breathing fire with that Blackhawk HP. So, I am onto my next project. I also have a Divided by 13 RSA 31 going through a 2x12 that currently has Celestion Blues in it.  The cleans on the amp are fine/great.  Any time I overdrive it with pedals, it is super fizzy!  Should I go with Veteran 30's?  Any other suggestions?

Yea, those low-watt blues can get fizzy quick!

Man, if you don't mind mixing speakers, I'd go with the WGS "house favorite" combo of a Vet 30 and an ET65 ... the ET in particular will bring an organic warmth to the mix ... like the opposite of "fizzy"!  Actually, a pair of ET65's would also be very good.
