Best clean sound speaker for a Fender Vibro Champ (AB764)

I am building a Fender Vibro Champ clone. Please make speaker recommendation for clean sounds. I only play old country and 50’s and early 60’s rock and roll.

The G8C or G8A would be fine in this amp. I think the G8A is just a bit sweeter when it comes to clean tones. Mostly, it just comes down to your speaker budget. If you’re building your own cabinet, you could build it a little taller and a little deeper to accommodate a 10" speaker. That would give you a lot more speaker options. The wattage range would also be expanded. You would gain a ton of headroom before that 7 watt Vibro Champ would reach a point of breaking up through a 60+ watt speaker.
