Bad Choice

I have a '66 Bassman in a 1x12 combo and need a matching high-power speaker to match it.  The Weber Legacy 100-watt in tehre is way too bright.

Can I get a WGS12L in 4 ohms?

Since I didn't get an answer, I decided to try the Weber "Chicago" aluminum-dome speaker in 4 ohms/100watts, supposedly an EV-like experience..  What a disapointment....very midrangey and even with treble on 10, just NO high end with my LP.

 

Maybe the 12L can be made in 4 ohms???

Sorry ... musta missed this one!

Anyway ... no to the 4-ohm ... but ...

A bassman is VERY happy at 8-ohms, so give it a try if you want ... as long as you have the room for the huge cast structure & magnet!
